A producers’ rights management organisation at the heart of French film and audiovisual creation.
This page is about recruitment. To become a statutory member of PROCIREP or ANGOA, see the Membership page.
Who are we?
PROCIREP (the Society of Film and Television Producers), founded in 1967, is a collective management organisation (CMO) that represents and defends French producers in the field of copyright and neighbouring rights. Its long-standing mission: to collect and distribute the “producers” share of audiovisual private-copying remuneration.
But PROCIREP is much more than that:
25% of the sums collected are devoted by the Film and Television Commissions to supporting the development and production of works (feature films, short films, documentaries, TV drama, animation). The Television Commission is also behind the French Television Producer of the Year Award.
ANGOA, PROCIREP’s sister company, is the producers’ civil-law company in charge of managing the rights for full and simultaneous retransmission of television programmes by third-party operators (cable, satellite, ADSL…). It brings together more than 700 production companies, distributors and rightsholders, in cooperation with AGICOA (Geneva).
Founder of EUROCOPYA (the European association of film and audiovisual producers’ CMOs), participant in the TEMS international data space project, manager of the ISAN standard in France (via the French ISAN Agency), and more besides.
A committed player
We are also actively engaged on today’s major issues, such as defending rightsholders in the face of the use of works by generative artificial intelligence. You are joining us at a key moment for the defence of producers’ intellectual property rights.
