PROCIREP feature film aid is repayable up to 50% of its amount. Reimbursement must be made from the first EOF film produced as a delegate by the production company since obtaining the aid (whether or not it appears in the development program then presented by the company), when the film is released.

No: they are two separate collective management organisations that handle two different rights for producers. PROCIREP collects and distributes the audiovisual private-copying remuneration, and allocates part of it to supporting creation (the Film and Television commissions and the Producer Award). ANGOA collects and distributes the rights for the full, simultaneous retransmission of television programmes by third-party operators (cable, satellite, fibre, OTT…). The two share the same teams: since 1994, PROCIREP has handled ANGOA’s day-to-day management.

• For all production or development aids (Documentaries, TV Fictions or Animation), the grant application must be sent electronically, imperatively in PDF format, accompanied by the aid regulations, completed and signed. See the downloadable forms relating to each grant in post bottom section.
• Collective Interest Requests must also be submitted in electronic form only, as described in the corresponding downloadable form.

Payments are made by bank transfer, after signature of the agreement sent after the Executive Committee (quarterly).

• For feature film and short film aid, the files are now to be provided in electronic format, according to the methods described in the downloadable forms relating to each aid.
• Requests for Collective Interest must be submitted in electronic format, according to the procedures described in the corresponding downloadable form.

Production companies can contact (by phone or email) the persons in charge of the Commissions concerned, after the Commission meeting. They are informed in writing of the decision once it has been ratified by the Executive Committee.

Before filming, and it is the submission date of the file that is taken into account, not the date of the Commission meeting. Any exemption that may be requested in the application must be duly substantiated by the producer, with the final decision on eligibility remaining at the discretion of the Commission.

Yes, it must be mainly EOF (French original expression) for the fictions presented to PROCIREP. On the other hand, it is indifferent to what concerns ANGOA.

No, the Commission filing dates must be respected.

Yes, upon request and only for the aids to production companies granted by the Television Committee, a letter-agreement can be electronically sent, while waiting for the decision of the Executive Committee which approves all decisions.

A project already submitted to the TV or Cinema Commissions, even if rejected, cannot be represented (to the exception of new spendings on a previously submitted project in the case of Feature film development support by the Cinema Commission).

ISAN (International Standard Audiovisual Number) is the unique and permanent registration number for works and versions of audiovisual works of all kinds, comparable to the ISBN number developed for book publishing.

ISAN is subject to ISO standards n°15706-1 (2002) (for the identification of works) and 15706-2 (2007) (for the identification of versions), and comes from a joint initiative of international organizations of producers and authors from the cinema and audiovisual sector.

However, its purpose covers all audiovisual works understood in the broad sense, including for example multimedia works or video games.

As indicated above, ISAN makes it possible to identify not only the work itself, but also its different versions (we sometimes speak of ISAN version).

It is a variation of the original work.
This may be a language version different from that of the shooting, a specific edition (DVD - Blu-ray...), a version specially identified for a broadcaster or for a mode of distribution (plane for example), a trailer...

This only modifies the last 8 characters of the ISAN: the first 16 remain the same as the ISAN “parent” identifying the work itself. However, it is not possible to assign a version number to an ISAN project (= provisional ISAN awaiting the actual production of the work) or to a head of series ISAN (= root ISAN identifying the common data of all episodes of the series; basis for registering the ISANs of each episode).

A production company can run again after a period of 12 months, if it has produced a feature film as a delegate (EOF for PROCIREP only) and - as far as PROCIREP is concerned - reimbursed 50% of the aid previously obtained .

For creative documentaries (production or development), there is no submission date, applications are registered with the Commission in the order of their arrival (monthly commissions). For other aids (examined quarterly), see the home page of the CInema and/or Television Commissions on the procirep.fr website where you will find the quarterly application deadlines.

They are 2 separate companies. A production company may possibly request both grants simultaneously, if the projects presented meet the criteria of each of the two PROCIREP and ANGOA Commissions (case of EOF projects), without having in this case to constitute the files in duplicate.

Only production companies can access it.
