DON QUICHOTTE FILMS (Quentin Brayer and Yannick Beauquis) has been named Short Film Production Company of the Year 2025 by its peers.

Award ceremony

This award, presented during the Partners Ceremony of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, comes with a €7,000 prize to be reinvested in the production of a future short film.

Initially, 23 companies* were in the running, based on a list of companies that had received short film funding from the PROCIREP Cinema Commission and had at least one film selected at Clermont-Ferrand in the past three years, excluding companies that had already won the award.

After the first round of voting, open to the 120 companies supported in short film production by PROCIREP over the last three years, three companies received the most votes and became the finalists for the 2025 Short Film Award: DON QUICHOTTE FILMS, PUNCHLINE CINEMA, and YUKUNKUN

*The 23 initially eligible companies were: ALTA ROCCA FILMS – BANDINI FILMS – DON QUICHOTTE FILMS – GOGOGO FILMS – GOODSEED PRODUCTIONS – ILIADE ET FILMS – JPL FILMS – LA BELLE AFFAIRE – LA CELLULE – LA PETITE PROD – MABEL FILMS – MIYU PRODUCTIONS – MODERATO – NOVANIMA – PUNCHLINE CINEMA – QUARTETT PRODUCTION – RUE DE LA SARDINE – SMAC PRODUCTIONS – SOCIÉTÉ ACÉPHALE – TRIPODE PRODUCTIONS – XBO FILMS – YSÉ PRODUCTIONS – YUKUNKUN
