Television Commission
The Television Commission assesses applications and awards creation support for audiovisual works: creative documentaries, TV dramas, series and animated specials, and projects of collective interest.
Applications are electronic and prepared according to the rules and form specific to each scheme.
- Development funding for documentary or animation: the application must be submitted at least one month before the committee date.
- Documentary production support: same principle, but the lead time before review may be longer, as applications are processed in the order received.
- TV fiction development support: the application must be submitted at least two months before the commission date.
Documentary production support
Support for the production of heritage works, awarded to production companies as a grant, according to the artistic quality of the project and the credibility of the production budget (average support of €6,500 for a 52’ since 2021, capped at 10 % of the budget, for more than 350 projects per year).
Applications submitted to PROCIREP may also be eligible for ANGOA’s documentary production support.

Support for the writing and development of creative documentaries, awarded as a grant according to the company’s production policy and the quality of the projects presented, to cover development, writing or rewriting costs only.
Eligible are single works of at least 26’ or series of at least 52’, subject either to a formal commitment from a French broadcaster covering at least 15 % of the budget, or to secured cash financing of at least 50 % of the budget including a rights purchase by a French broadcaster.

Support for the writing and development of audiovisual fiction, paid for the programme presented to cover writing costs only. PROCIREP’s support is 40 % refundable under the terms of the rules; ANGOA’s is a non-refundable grant.

Support for writing and pilots, awarded at least quarterly according to the company’s development policy and the artistic quality of the projects (programme covering 1 to 3 projects per year).
Only one application per company per year is possible, with a minimum of 12 months between two reviews. These applications may also be eligible for ANGOA’s animation development support.

Support for collective-interest projects concerning the development and promotion of the audiovisual creation sector. Applications received are reviewed at least once per quarter.
The electronic file, in Word format, includes all the items requested in the downloadable document, following the order of the table of contents and the specified formats.

Each support application is submitted electronically: it is compiled in accordance with the procedures set out in the rules and form specific to each type of support, which can be downloaded above or from the document database (section "Resources").
Applications should be sent by email to the PROCIREP commission officers listed on the forms. A member area will soon enable the online submission of applications via this platform.
