Television Commission
The Television Commission assesses applications and awards creation support for audiovisual works: creative documentaries, TV dramas, series and animated specials, and projects of collective interest.
Applications are submitted electronically and prepared in accordance with the rules and forms specific to each scheme. Please consult the "News" section to view the latest report on Television Commission funding, including the average amounts awarded per type of support.
- Development funding for documentary or animation: the application must be submitted at least one month before the committee date.
- Documentary production support: same principle, but the lead time before review may be longer, as applications are processed in the order received.
- TV fiction development support: the application must be submitted at least two months before the commission date.
Documentary production support
Production funding for heritage works, awarded to production companies as a grant, based on the artistic quality of the project and the credibility of the production budget. Eligible are standalone projects of at least 26 minutes or series of at least 52 minutes, subject to either a formal commitment from a French broadcaster covering at least 15% of the budget, or secured cash financing of at least 50% of the budget, including a rights purchase by a French broadcaster.
The average PROCIREP grant has been €6,500 for a 52-minute programme since 2021, capped at 10% of the budget, supporting over 350 projects annually. Applications submitted to PROCIREP may also be eligible for ANGOA's documentary production grants, whose average amount represented 18% of the PROCIREP grant in 2025, and 15% in 2026.

Creation support for the writing and development of creative documentaries, awarded as a grant in accordance with the company’s production policy and the quality of all submitted projects, to cover only development, writing or rewriting costs. The application may include up to three creative documentary projects in development [the first day of shooting must be scheduled no earlier than three months after the submission date, unless a duly justified exemption request is included in the application], which must be standalone documentaries with a minimum duration of 26’, or series with a total duration of at least 52’.
The maximum funding provided by PROCIREP is €12,500 per company for a programme of three projects, with an average funding per supported project of around €3,500 in 2025. Applications submitted to PROCIREP may also be eligible for ANGOA's documentary development funding, with the average funding representing 18% of the PROCIREP funding in 2025 and 15% in 2026.

Funding for the writing and development of audiovisual fictions, granted under the submitted programme (covering a maximum of one to four projects) to cover writing costs only. Only one funding application per company per year is permitted, with a minimum interval of 12 months between two committee reviews.
Since 2025, PROCIREP funding has been calculated on the basis of committed writing costs, with a maximum of €9,750 per project (and €39,000 per company for four projects). Applications submitted to PROCIREP may also be eligible for ANGOA's fiction development funding. PROCIREP funding is repayable up to 40% under the terms of the regulations; ANGOA funding (which represented 18% of PROCIREP funding in 2025, and 15% in 2026) is a non-repayable grant.

Writing and pilot development support, awarded at least quarterly in accordance with the company's development policy and the artistic quality of the projects (covering 1 to 3 projects per year). Only one application for support per company per year is permitted, with a minimum period of 12 months between two committee reviews.
The average funding provided by PROCIREP was approximately €10,000 per project supported in 2025, with a maximum of €15,000 per project. Applications submitted to PROCIREP may also be eligible for ANGOA’s development funding for animation programmes, with average funding representing 18% of PROCIREP funding in 2025, and 15% in 2026.

Support for collective-interest projects concerning the development and promotion of the audiovisual creation sector. Applications received are reviewed at least once per quarter.

Each support application is submitted electronically: it is compiled in accordance with the procedures set out in the rules and form specific to each type of support, which can be downloaded above or from the document database (section "Resources").
Applications should be sent by email to the PROCIREP commission officers listed on the forms. A member area will soon enable the online submission of applications via this platform.
